On January 30, Amazon MGM Studios will debut in theaters the so-called “documentary” of Melania Trump—-yes, America’s First (sorry—-third) Lady of the United States.
The movie, directed by Brett Ratner of the “Rush Hour” trilogy, follows her life and role as First Lady in the twenty-day lead up to Trump’s second term swearing in, after his 2024 election win. According to the plot outline provided by IMDb, the film is “an intimate chronicle offers a rare glimpse into the life of Melania Trump, exploring her role as First Lady and her relationship with the President.”
This movie was only brought about by Jeff Bezos in order to please Trump. This has no art or value to it, and is only fueled by propaganda.
The fact that this movie is even released in theaters is almost an insult as Trump personally had a hand in single-handedly destroying the county during COVID; even though he funded Opeation Warp Speed, he also helped to spread disinformation in order to appease his MAGA. supporters. Businesses haven’t fully recovered; it also applies to the movie industry.
America is now being seen as the laughing stock of the world. He is destroying the country with his policies and alienating other countries that we have become allies with over the many decades, choosing instead to side with foreign adversaries and their dictator leaders.
I also strongly believe that if a person does something hurtful or offensive to themselves or others around them, people shouldn’t spend their money on them. By supporting this film, you are feeding into his lies and his propaganda. Every ticket you buy sends money to Trump.
